The week in photos – Twenty Seven

Salem from Isfahan!

Welcome to another week in photos. I’m now into my second week in Iran and time’s flown by. I’ve spent the past five nights in the beautiful town of Isfahan and to be honest, I wasn’t loving it at first but I’ve warmed to the history, beautiful architecture and also have met a few locals who have shown me around which has been a the highlight thus far.

I’m off to a smaller town of Yazd today and from there, hopefully score a trip out into the desert, away from the city pollution to capture some more photographs of the night sky. By the time next week rolls around my time here will be coming to an end and I’ll be almost heading back to SEAsia :(

Hope you enjoy the rest of the week and as usual, let me know which ones you love the most.

isfahan dining

A lot of effort goes into the restaurant designs. Unlike most dining establishments around the world, venues close to the tourist attractions aren’t too bad in quality and price.

isfahan parks

There is quite a bit of greenery around Isfahan and Iran which ou wouldn’t have thought so before arriving to Iran. Many friends and family flock here during the day and evening to picnic, socialise and drink tea.
