One of the most popular posts for last year was actually my last post where I showcased my favourite photos of 2013. It was a difficult process of narrowing it down to 35, so rather than hold back on the photos, why not share them with you all each week for some travel inspiration.
It’s been a fairly cruisey week for me. I touched down in Phnom Penh, Cambodia last Friday and have been hanging out with my mates Mick and Madz who live here and work for an NGO. I had purposely timed my arrival in time for Mick’s 30th birthday where we celebrated with non stop eating at the weekend buffet at the Sofitel and then backed it up with some late night hot pot action. It felt like we were eating non stop days. Now that our eating habits are back to normal, I’m back into the swing of things working on a couple of projects that I can share with you very soon!
This week’s photo theme titled “In Waiting” captures the buzz of Chinese New Year as well as the first few days here in Cambodia. This weekend I am off to the coastal area of Sihanoukville, so no doubt there will be quite a few beach shots coming up.
Which photo do you think best captures this week’s theme of “waiting”?
