I’m now back in Sydney, enjoying the summer weather. I’d be lying if I told you that I wasn’t still on a high from the trip, but it’s good to be back home to recharge the batteries, catch up with family and friends, drink water from the tap and soak up a bit of Aussie sun. I’m still processing many of the thoughts and memories from this year and there’s still much to be put into words. Needless to say, 2013 has been an incredible one with plenty of travel to many amazing places.
I’ve compiled a shortlist of my favourite photos of 2013. From the Carribean beaches of Central America to the fresh mountain air of Patagonia, it’s been a difficult task scanning through over 7,000 photos, but I’ve narrowed it down to thirty five. I hope that whoever sees these photos will be inspired to travel and see more of the world.
It’s been a pleasure sharing the journey so far with you all. When I started this blog, I never knew how I’d go with updating it regularly but it’s been both addictive and a huge learning curve getting my head around Word Press but also digging deeper into my own personal thoughts. I’d like to thank each and everyone of you for the support and also to all of the friends I have made along the way. I look forwarding to sharing with you all my plans for 2014 but in the meantime, I wish you all the happiest holidays and a Merry New Year.
